The natural world is phenomenal and so much of the manmade world — our architecture, our cities — is a stunning accomplishment. They exist hand in hand in both beautiful expressions and disastrous and ugly manifestations, but are elementally joined together. Just as the disparate photos hold together as a whole, they seem to merge naturally with my snow-dyed fabrics. Our entire existence contains the natural and the invented intertwined — each dependent on the other, each breathing in the wake of the other.
