Mac Barnes Workshop: InkScape for Quilters: How to leverage free InkScape design software to level up your quilt patterns and designs

Dates & Time: June 22, 2024- 9:00am - 4:00pm & June 23, 2024 9:00am-4:00pm

Fee: $75 total for both days. You are welcome to attend one or both days. However, there is no discount for one day attendance, and there are no refunds, but you are welcome to find a replacement for your spot.

*$100 option now available for Non-SAQA members.

Registration: Open 5/1/2024 - 6/21/2024 (Maximum of 30 attendees)

Mac Barnes will be providing an in person 2-day workshop with hands-on instructions on how to use your own pictures/drawings and create a pattern/design using Inkscape, a free web-based tool. The objective of the workshop is to provide you with an additional design tool to use in your fiber art designs that can be used with applique, thread painting, piecing, paper piecing, textile painting, etc.

All levels of experience, including no experience, using web-based drawing tools are encouraged to register.

June 22, 2024: Learn how to use Inkscape using your laptop/tablet.

June 23, 2024: Refining your pattern/design and open sew time

Morning session - we will be refining our Inkscape pattern/design with guidance from Mac
Afternoon session - continue to refine and work on your Inkscape project or bring another project and socialize!
